Lycos Internet Limited, a Hyderabad-based publicly-listed digital marketing company, on Monday announced that its Lycos Life band, a wearable device that helps users monitor steps, calories burned, speed and heart rate, for iOS (iPhone operating system) devices.
Lycos, had in June 2015, launched its Internet of Things-enabled suite of products under the Lycos Life label. The company introduced two products - the band and the ring - along with an Android-based app.
"This will help us map the complete gamut of mobile users across the world," Suresh Reddy, chairman and chief executive officer of Lycos, said in a filing to the BSE.
"This is an add-on to the Android app released last month. We are also looking at enhancing several other features in the line of security," said Brad Cohen, chief strategy officer of Lycos.
Lycos Internet Limited's scrip is currently trading at Rs 32.75 on the BSE, down 1.06%, as against the previous close of Rs 33.10 a share.
