"We will be investing Rs 50 crore for increasing the company owned showrooms in the country," OSIM-India Managing Director Shaily Grover said.

He said the company now has around 22 outlets in India and will add another 28 in the next three years.

"From then on we will add more such showrooms so that we achieve 100 outlets across the country by 2012," Grover said.

He said the company would spend around Rs 75 lakh to Rs one crore as investments for each outlet. On the company's business activities in India, he said that they import the products under health, hygiene, nutrition and fitness categories.

"The products manufactured by our parent company OSIM at Singapore are directly imported here and we cater to our customers through our exclusive outlets," he said.

On the two products launched recently in the city, Grover said 'OSIM u Pilot' is a designer massage chair, which gives full curative effects of a therapeutic massage.

"We have priced this at Rs 3,69,000 and hope to sell around 500 chairs in the country this year," he said.

The other product OSIM uSqueeze is a foot massager. Its features include multi angle squeeze and wrap around squeeze for personalised calves-ankles-feet massage.

"This is priced at Rs 23,000 and we hope to sell around 50-100 pieces in one year," he said.

He said the company's business in India was not even one per cent of the global level.
