Software services company Prodapt, part of 110-year-old Jhaver Group, today said it has acquired US-based Pacific Crest Technology for an undisclosed amount.

Prodapt has acquired a 100 per cent stake in Pacific Crest Technology, USA in an all cash deal, a company statement said.

The acquisition expands the city headquartered Prodapt's base in the North American market and would consolidate the company's US operations, it said.

Pacific Crest would be renamed as Prodapt North America, with Pacific Crest CEO Kerry Padrick as President.

Pacific Crest is a $17.2 million (approximately Rs 80 crore) company headquartered in Oregon, USA.

"Pradapt has worked with Pacific Crest Technology for over four years, delivering software services to large telecom operators. Over these years we have built a strategic partnership between the companies for the US market. This consolidation will strengthen our delivery capabilities for both wireline and wireless operators," Prodapt CEO Vedant Jhaver said.

Jhaver Group is engaged in various operations, including pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, coated fabrics and real estate. The Group employs over 7,500 people across 45 locations in India and internationally, the release added.
