Reliance Infrastructure’s engineering, procurement and construction division has completed construction of the first 600-Mw unit of the Haryana government’s Rajiv Gandhi Khedar Thermal Power Plant (RGKTPP) in Hisar.
RGKTPP, meant to have two units of 600 Mw each, is being set up by Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd.
Synchronisation of the first unit was achieved in 33 months and the unit reached more than full load capacity in the shortest possible time, said a company release. R-Infra is part of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.
“We are happy to commission the country’s largest and first 600 Mw Thermal Power plant’s in Hisar.
