Rei Agro Q4 net dips 42% at Rs 12.97 cr

Agribusiness firm Rei Agro today reported a fall of 42 per cent in its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31 to Rs 12.97 crore over the corresponding period a year ago.     

The company had a net profit of Rs 22.35 crore during the March quarter a year earlier, Rei Agro said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.     

Total income of the company rose to Rs 857.43 crore during the fourth quarter of FY'09 from Rs 631.41 crore of the same quarter last year.    

For the financial year ended March 31, 2009, the firm posted a net profit of Rs 60.92 crore, down 41 per cent compared to Rs 103.05 crore of FY'08.
