Ritz Carlton ties up with Oberoi Realty for Mumbai project

US-based luxury hotel chain The Ritz Carlton will make its enrty into Mumbai soon. City-based Oberoi Realty today announced that Ritz Carlton will be its hospitality partner in its joint venture project in Worli area here.

Oberoi's mixed use project will have two towers- The Ritz Carlton Mumbai and service apartments--The Residences managed by Ritz Carlton Mumbai.

The Ritz Carlton hotel will have 238 rooms, two speciality and  fine dining restaurants and an ocean view bar, spa and banquet facilities here. Oberoi did not disclose the opening date and investment for the project

The project is designed by US-based KPF and interiors of the hotel towers will be desgined by renowned interior designer Tony Chi, Oberoi Realty said in a release.

The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, which runs 85 hotels in 26 countries, first opened in bangalore in 2013 in partnership with Nitesh Estates.

Last year, another luxury chain Shangri La ended its association with The Phoenix Mills for its Mumbai hotel in Lower Parel.
