RPP Infra's JV bags Rs 87 crore worth order

Expects to complete the project, for Kerala Electricity Board, in 24 months

RPP Infra Projects Ltd, along with its joint venture partner Saravana Engineering Bhavani Pvt Ltd, has bagged a Rs 87 crore worth order from Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd. The order is to handle the civil works of Bhoothathankettu Small Hydro Electric Project of 24 MW, it said.

Arul Sundaram, chairman and managing director of RPP Infra Projects, said that the company hopes to bag more such projects to improve its performance in the near future.

The company, in a statement, added that the said project is expected to be completed in 24 months and RPP has a scope of about 30% of the total contract. The project is to do civil works, construction of concrete power channel, power house, tail race channel and design, fabrication, delivery, erection, testing and commissining of intake gates, fresh track and draft tube gates.
