Samsung launches new version of My Galaxy app

The app would provides quick access to services such as cabs, movies, recharge and bill payment, food ordering, travel among other things

Samsung India on Monday announced the launch of its new version of My Galaxy application, an entertainment and life-services app exclusively available to Indian users of Samsung Galaxy mobile devices.

The user experience in the new app has been significantly enhanced to provide a unique all-in-one experience to customers, the company said.

Besides videos, music and gaming, the app also provides quick access to services such as cabs, movies, recharge and bill payment, food ordering, travel among other things, according to the company. "It provides consumers the convenience of a single destination for all their needs with respect to services,"it said. The new app was developed completely by Indian R&D team at Samsung R&D institute in Bengaluru.
