Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn March qtr net up 9.05% to Rs 27.7 cr

Textiles firm Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn today said its net profit rose by 9.05% to Rs 27.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011, over the same period previous fiscal.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 25.40 crore in the same period in the year ago period.

Total income of the company rose to Rs 442.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011, compared to Rs 389.10 crore in the same period last fiscal, Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Shares of Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn today closed at Rs 94.55 on BSE, down 5.12% from its previous close.
