Sify partners with Voxbone for voice, data networks

Sify Technologies has selected Voxbone to provide worldwide geographical and toll-free telephone numbers. Voxbone enables internet communications services providers, global carriers and national operators to extend the reach of their voice services internationally, rapidly and with limited costs.

With the demand for Direct Inward Dialing (DID) and Toll Free (TF) numbers increasing, swift provisioning of these services has become a differentiator and business imperative for service providers, said a release by Sify.

Voxbone offers a structured user interface which automates the ordering and configuring of Voxbone numbers in real time. Sify Technologies will leverage VoxAPI to provision DID numbers on demand; a task which previously took up to a week.

Voxbone CEO Rod Ullens said Sify Technologies chose Voxbone because of the ease with which they could buy and provision a DID number. "We are very pleased to be working with Sify Technologies in helping Indian companies to establish internal voice and data networks and also expand their international sales and customer care reach through our local numbers," said Ullens.
