Bangalore-based property developer Sobha Developers sold properties worth Rs 533 crore in December quarter of FY 2013, nearly 19% higher than what it sold in the corresponding quarter in FY2012 but 1.1% higher than what it sold in Q2 of FY2013.

The company sold a total space of 0.90 million sq ft at an average price of Rs 5,910 per sq ft in Q3 of FY2013.

The average sales realisation of the company went up 8% as compared to Q3 of FY2012 and 6% as compared to Q2 of FY2013.

"The quarter witnessed witness weaker customer sentiment stemming from a disinclination to make purchases during periods which are believed to be inauspicious as per locally observed traditions and customs. In spite of the above, this has been the best quarter ever in terms of sales realization in the history of the company. The sales performance achieved during the quarter is from existing projects without any new launches in Q3," Sobha said in a release.
