Telecom service provider Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (SSTL), whose licences got cancelled by a Supreme court judgement early this year, on Monday said its priority was to get clarity over spectrum-related issues and not acquisition at this moment. The company’s response comes amid speculation that SSTL is looking at buying a stake in GSM player Aircel. A top official of SSTL said, “We are not in discussions to acquire to any telecom service provider at this point of time." When contacted a top Aircel executive said “no such proposal came to us.”
