Student startup company MindHelix Technosol has been selected for the US-based Alchemist Accelerator Program for Enterprise Product startups. This is the first startup venture from Kerala to get selected for the programme.

The Accelerator, based in Menlo Park, San Francisco, runs a programme for six months incubating 12 enterprise-centric startups. The programme allocates $30,000 in seed funding to each company. It also provides these startups the opportunity to showcase their products to Fortune 100 companies in the US. Leading mentors will educate these startups on fundraising, sales and marketing and establishing their product in the US market.

MindHelix has created the cloud computing-based Customer Interaction application. The company then went on to build the customer interaction product based on cloud computing. The first implementation of the product was done for Delhi Police, named 'Know Your Police Station', a public portal where citizens can connect with the police. It has already acquired customers in the hospitality, banking sector and also government agencies.

Christin George, CEO of the company, said a team would be moving to the US for the programme. MindHelix Technosol is a startup company formed in December 2010 by an engineer and an engineering student.
