Cambridge English adopts edu startup Flinnt's platform

Cambridge English Language Assessment, part of UK-based University of Cambridge, has adopted communication and sharing app Flinnt to create its m-learning network for language teachers across India.

Currently, Cambridge English is working with more than 500 schools and institutions of higher education in India.

English teachers from schools as well as colleges can connect with each other, share their ideas and opinions on Flinnt. 

Already, over 700 educators from these institutions have joined the network and are accessing the resources curated by Cambridge English, besides sharing their own teaching-learning practices.

Flinnt was launched in August 2012 in Ahmedabad, and went live in June 2014. The platform can be accessed by Android and iOS or through its website.

"Language teachers in India have always been very enthusiastic about professional development, and our new platform gives them a great opportunity to pool their knowledge and resources," Angela Ffrench, director (operations - South Asia), Cambridge English Language Assessment, said in a statement on Monday.
