Sujana Towers today posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 21.16 crore for the three months ended June 2011, an increase of nearly 17% as compared to the year-ago period.
The company had posted a profit of Rs 18.10 crore in the same period a year ago.
In a regulatory filing, Sujana Towers said it raked in a total income of Rs 433.79 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 300.64 crore in the same period previous financial year.
On a standalone basis, the firm's profit after tax rose to Rs 16.49 crore in the latest June quarter as against Rs 13.11 crore in the year-ago period.
The company is into power and telecom infrastructure.
