Surya Roshni Ltd today posted 40.13% increase in net profit at Rs 18.54 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 13.23 crore for the corresponding period of previous fiscal, Surya Roshni said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 721.12 crore for the third quarter compared to Rs 597.88 crore for the same period in 2011-12 fiscal.
The company's board, which met today, also declared second interim dividend of 10%, it added.
Shares of Surya Roshni today closed at Rs 72.40 on the BSE, down 1.56% from their previous close.
