Tata Tea changes name to Tata Global Beverages

Beverage major Tata Tea has proposed a change in name of the company from the existing “Tata Tea Ltd” to “Tata Global Beverages Ltd". The board of directors of the company has already approved the proposed change while approval from shareholders and the Central government is yet to be ascertained.

The company informed BSE that the approval of the shareholders is proposed to be sought by way of postal ballot in accordance with the provisions of Section 192A of the Companies Act, 1956.
