Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited cancelled its offer for sale which was to take place on Friday.
Tata Sons, the promoters of the company, have called off the proposed sale of 51 million shares, according to an exchange notification.
“Tata Sons Limited, the Promoter of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited vide its letter dated 17th May, 2013 has informed the Exchange that they have decided to cancel Offer for Sale,” it said.
The stock was down 8.58%, ending at Rs 8.1 at the close of trade.
