Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL), which provides voice, data and managed services to large, medium and small enterprises across the country, is looking at becoming a one-stop-shop for small and medium enterprises to manage their IT and telecommunication requirements, said Prateek Pashine, head of enterprise business unit of the company.

The company's business in the enterprise segment is growing at around 14 per cent while the overall market growth is at around seven per cent, he said. In terms of data business, the industry is growing at 12-13 per cent while the company is growing at a higher rate.

"We are the largest player in the enterprise segment in the country and we want to become a one-stop-shop solution provider for the IT and telecom services for the small and medium businesses in the country," said Pashine. The enterprise business is around 30 per cent of the overall business of TTSL, he added, while refused to divulge the total revenue of the company.

The enterprise business is around 10 per cent of the Rs 2 lakh crore telecom industry in the country.

Apart from the regular services of voice and data, which is around 90 per cent of the business in the segment at present, the company is also offering consultative selling, which is to offer specific solution to a problem faced by the customer.

"We were earlier only targeting the budget of the technology or the IT department of our customer. But we realised that the requirement is there outside of this, where the operational challenges of these companies could also be addressed through our solutions. We are trying to do that," said Pashine. The enterprise business segment of the company is growing at almost the double of what the industry growth rate is, including managed engine services and data.

He added that a large number of the start-ups in the country are the customers of TTSL. The enterprise team of the company comprises of 2,000 people who work through 1,200 channel partners to offer ICT solutions to customers in over 60 cities across the country.
