Information technology firm Tech Mahindra reported a 1.5 per cent fall in consolidated net profit to Rs 226.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010, compared to Rs 230.03 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Consolidated total income grew 18.7 per cent to Rs 1,257.25 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010 compared to Rs 1,059 crore a year ago.
On a standalone basis, the firm posted a 4.7 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 231.8 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010 compared to Rs 221.39 crore a year ago.
Total Income grew 21.8 per cent to Rs 1,241.8 crore from Rs 1,019.3 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2009.
For the full year ended March 31, 2010, the company posted a profit after tax of Rs 742.85 crore as compared to Rs 986.64 crore for the previous year.
