Trident Hyderabad to open in next two weeks

Company's 55-acre beach front site at Goa has received planning approval, awaits environment clearance

EIH ltd, which runs the Oberoi and Trident hotels, said its Hyderabad property consisting of 326 keys is set to open in the next couple of week.

Trident Hyderabad will open in another two weeks' time, said a spokesperson of the company in the sidelines of the annual general meeting here on Tuesday.

According to the annual report company's 55 acre beach front site at Goa has received planning approval and environment clearance is awaited.

Planning for the Oberoi Pune and Bangalore is in  process while 160 key Trident in Navi Mumbai is on the verge of seeing the construction work commence shortly. The Trident at Navi Mumbai will be managed by the company.

In Marrakech, The Oberoi is under construction which will be managed by wholly owned overseas  subsidiary. In addition to the hotel, branded villas for sale are planned on an adjacent site, the annual report noted.
