Tyre Exports Rise 36% In April

Tyre exports zoomed 36 per cent in April 2002, led primarily by a strong growth in commercial vehicles (CV) and passenger car tyres. Of the 2.59 lakh tyres exported in April against 1.91 lakh during April 2001, high-value CV tyres accounted for over 78 per cent.
