UHBVN clocks Rs 1,721 cr revenue till Oct this fiscal

The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) earned a revenue of Rs 1,721.22 crore up to October, an increase of 20 per cent from the revenue it earned in the same period last year.

UHBVN had earned a revenue of Rs 1,436.41 crore from April to October last year, a Nigam spokesperson said here today. He said it had earned Rs 285.04 crore in the month of October, 2010.

The revenue collection was highest at Rs 45.87 crore in Panipat.

He said that record amount collection was a result of a special drive launched by the UHBVN officials, adopting a three-pronged strategy, targeting to considerably reduce aggregated technical and commercial losses.
