United Spirits promoters pledge 90.8% stake

The promoter and promoter group comprising Vijay Mallya, Chairman, United Breweries (Holdings) Limited, Kingfisher Finvest India Limited, Mallya Private Limited, Devi Investments Private Limited, Vittal Investments Private Limited, Rossi & Associates Private Limited have pledged 90.83 per cent of their equity shares (33.2 million) in United Spirits Limited, according to a notice issued to National Stock
Exchange on March 17, 2009.

The shares were pledged on March 16.
