Vaibhav Diamonds plans unit in Adityapur

The proposed diamond polishing unit would take up about 1,000 sq. ft. and entail investment of about Rs 23 crore.

The AIADA's plot clearance committee and land allotment committee cleared the proposals received from 104 businesses envisaging total investment of Rs 1,942 crore in the industrial belt of Adityapur.

The projects were expected to create employment over 2,000 people. The AIADA land allotment committee was able to provide plots for 44 projects out of 104 cleared projects.

The remaining projects would get plots after more land was added to the Adityapur industrial area.
