VE Commercial Vehicles today reported an over three-fold increase in sales of Eicher trucks in December last year at 2,665 units as against 748 units in the same month previous year.
Domestic sales during the month stood at 2,378 units as against 502 units, a near five-fold jump, the company said at the 10th Auto Expo here.
Exports during December was up 16.67 per cent at 287 units compared with 246 units in the year-ago period.
VE Commercial Vehicles is a joint venture between Eicher Motors and Sweden-based Volvo group.
