Wipro acquires Unza for Rs 1,010crBS Reporter / Bangalore July 6, 2007Wipro has acquired Unza Holdings (Unza), a Singapore-based FMCG company, in an all-cash deal worth Rs 1,010.2 crore (approximately $246 million). The transaction is expected to be closed by the end of this month, according to a release issued by Wipro to the BSE today.Unza has manufacturing plants in Malaysia, Vietnam, China and Indonesia.
