Xerox Modicorp Gets A New Head

Xerox Modicorp India has appointed Pierre Nothard as its managing director. He replaces Pedro Fabrega, the present managing director, who will be taking up an appointment as chief executive officer CEO of Xerox Mexico, a part of Developing Markets Operations, Xerox Corporation US.

Nothard is currently the managing director of Xerox, South Africa, a post which he has held for the last eight years in his 15 year stint with Xerox.

His senior management roles in Xerox include management positions in marketing and sales, before being promoted to managing director, Xerox, South Africa.

Nothard plans to extend Xerox India's document outsourcing business and would be targeting industries such as banking, telecom, finance, insurance, printing, graphic arts, manufacturing, government and education in its new thrust, said a company statement.

Nothard is also expected to expand the company's position in the high-end of the market, leverage local manufacturing capability, consolidate market coverage and strengthen investments in infrastructure, people and processes.

Xerox operates in India through Xerox Modicorp Ltd. and is a leader in the document management market. As part of the Developing Markets Operations of Xerox Corporation, US, it is integrated to Xerox's worldwide growth plans.
