XL Telecom allots 1 mn shares to Morgan Stanley

XL Telecom & Energy, a Hyderabad-based solar panel and solar cell manufacturer, has allotted over 1 million shares of Rs 10 each, at a premium of Rs 150 per share, to Morgan Stanley Mauritius Company on conversion of foreign currency convertible bonds to the extent of $4.5 million (about Rs 22 crore). 

Consequently, the paid up equity share capital of XL Telecom has been increased to over 20 million equity shares of Rs 10 each, the company said in a filing to the BSE on Tuesday.

The scrip of XL Telecom is currently trading at Rs 55.40 on the BSE, up 2.69 per cent as against the previous close of Rs 53.95.
