Real-time collaboration between teams working across multiple divisions and geographical areas can be a challenge for businesses. Zapty’s cloud-based solution aims to tackle this problem.
This is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for cloud-based work management which enables users to discover, manage and eventually automate processes. The business-to-business (B2B) firm provides software with collaboration on communication, document reviews, tracking, process discovery and workflow management.
Co-founded in November 2014 by Arvind Agarwal, Sanjay Shah and Teja Shah, the start-up recently raised $500,000 (Rs 3.2 crore) in seed funding from early-stage venture capital firm Ideaspring Capital.
Zapty is a subscription-based service, which offers its basic plan free of cost. It charges $5-$10 per user per month from businesses and enterprises.
“We will achieve break-even in 12-18 months but lot of customer traction, a good customer success team (CST), product differentiation and innovation would we essential to reach there,” Shah said.
With offices in Bengaluru and San Francisco, the US, Canada and Europe account for more than three-fourths of Zapty’s customer base. It has a 14-member strong team and plans to add resources in engineering, marketing and CST.
The company aims to get 5,000 customers on its platform in the next 12 months, focussing on 50-100 per cent month-on-month growth in monthly recurring revenue and expand its foothold in the Indian market.
