Zydus Wellness today posted 38.12% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 23.62 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
This includes net profit after taxes, minority interests and shares of profits of associates, it added.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011, Zydus Wellness said in a filing to BSE.
Consolidated net sales of the company rose to Rs 91.41 crore for the quarter under consideration from Rs 83.89 crore for the corresponding period previous fiscal.
The company combines healthcare, nutrition and cosmeceuticals in its products. The company's products include Sugar Free, Nutralite and EverYuth among others Zydus Wellness said.
Shares of Zydus Wellness today closed at Rs 461.90 on the BSE, down 0.02% from its previous close.
