Total income from operations was up 22.5 per cent YoY to Rs 1,324 million on a GST-adjusted basis. The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortised expenses (Ebitda) was up by 49.2 per cent to Rs 332 million during the quarter under review.
India Infoline noted that raw material cost and other expenses during the quarter were 187 basis points and 232 basis points lower on YoY basis as percentage of net sales, which resulted in a 350 bps YoY expansion in the Ebitda margin for the quarter. Advertisement spend as percentage of net sales was up 16.6 per cent yoy.
The company's flagship brand Sugar Free continues to enjoy leadership position with 94.4 per cent share of the market. EverYuth Scrub and EverYuth Peel Off Mask continued to maintain leadership position in their respective categories with 33 per cent and 86.5 per cent market shares respectively.
The company's shares ended at Rs 1,052.20, up 7.17 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
