Zydus Wellness Q4 net up 59 pc at Rs 37 cr

Board of directors has also proposed an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share

Consumer Products firm Zydus Wellness today reported 59.14% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 37.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

The company had posted net profit of Rs 23.5 crore for the January-March quarter in 2011-12, Zydus Wellness said in a filing to BSE.

Consolidated net sales of the company for the quarter under consideration also rose to Rs 108.32 crore from Rs 85.8 crore for the same period year ago.

The company said its board of directors has also proposed an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share of Rs 10 each.

The company manufactures products like Sugar Free, Nutralite and EverYuth.

Zydus Wellness scrip closed at Rs 497.05 on the BSE, up sharply by 5.98%.
