The raise was implemented across Gujarat and Rajasthan today. The GCMMF had earlier hiked the price in other areas of the country.
The price of Amul Gold has been increased from Rs 42 a litre to Rs 44 per litre, they said, adding that price of Amul Shakti, which was earlier Rs 38 per litre has been raised to Rs 40 per litre.

The hike in various brands of milk is attributed by cooperative officials to rising input cost.
