The first global summit organised by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)- Raipur registered presentation of about 140 cases from across the world, successfully synergising real corporate life and academic studies.

The guest speaker of the event, Mithileshwar Jha, professor, IIM Bangalore, focused on how students should be encouraged to move into experiential learning exposed to the total market. Nagendra Chowdary, VP and head academics, TCLL opined that the cases discussed in the summit should be made available on the internet and he would take the steps for its facilitation. "Indian cases needs to be promoted at the global level and this summit is an endeavor towards the same cause", was the concluding remark by S K Mitra, professor from IIM Raipur. The IIM Raipur spokesperson said the summit was also an opportunity to know about the contemporary practices in management case writing and case handling in the class. Some issues regarding the case based teaching method were discussed in the summit.
