"The conference will be attended by publishing professionals from all parts of the country. A total of 51 speakers, including three from Goa, have been invited to share their views at the conference. Speakers from France, Australia and England have also confirmed their participation," said Leonardo Fernandes, co-founder of Cimmanom Teal Publishing, a Goa-based publishing house which is organising the event.
Companies such as Penguin India, Kobo Inc, Amar Chitra Katha, HP India, Vani Prakashan and National Book Trust, India, would be represented at the conference.
The event will have an inaugural address by writer and legislator Vishnu Surya Wagh. A keynote address on September 21 would be delivered by noted historian, author and translator Prof AR Venkatachalapathy, he added.
