The first edition of a comprehensive directory that could serve as a one-stop reference guide on Indian entrepreneurs and professionals in the UAE, has been published.
The manual 'Indian Businessmen and Professionals Manual', compiled by India Trade and Exhibition Centre Middle East (ITEC ME) was released here yesterday by Indian Ambassador to the UAE, M K Lokesh.
The manual is a source of information for those looking to establish business contacts and describes the economic and social achievements of the Indian business community in the UAE.
"The manual is envisioned to act as a link and as a one-stop reference guide on Indian businessmen and professionals and major business establishments, for use by members of all nationalities in the UAE, the GCC and MENA regions, government bodies, embassies, consulates, trade organisations, and high profile Individuals," Aggarwal said.
Among those attending the event included Saeed Obaid al Jarwan, Vice Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ITEC board members.
