An encounter between the security forces and militants in Ahmednagar area of Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar city came to end on Thursday morning.
According to reports, a top LeT Commander escaped from the encounter site.
The security forces had last night laid a siege around the Ahmednagar area on receiving information about the presence of militants.
Six policemen were injured in the encounter yesterday when personnel of the state police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a search operation in the area.
