Eros International and R Balki team up for Shamitabh

Shamitabh, is the third film with the actor-director combination of Amitabh Bachchan and Balki

After successfully distributing English Vinglish worldwide, Eros International Media Limited and R. Balki, will be distributing the filmmaker's next venture, Shamitabh. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan, the film will release  on February 6, 2015.

Shamitabh, is the third film with the actor-director combination of Bachchan and Balki after Cheeni Kum (2007) and Paa (2009). The movie also marks the acting debut of Akshara Haasan, daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika. English Vinglish marked the directorial debut of Gauri Karnik, Balki's wife and also featured Bachchan in a cameo.
