India's largest life insurer Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) said that the company has eased the procedure for settlement of claims on the lives of victims of the Floods in the state of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry ,who are company's policyholders.
The insurer has extended concessions and relaxations to policyholders affected by the recent Floods in the State of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry which has caused injury and loss of Lives, said the company in a press release.
As on December 9, 2015, the firm said 24 claims were reported and all the claims were settled on the same day amounting to Rs 29.39 lakhs.
