MNS abstains from Presidential voting

Of the 288 members of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, 274 cast their votes in the voting held for presidency here at the state legislature. Incidentally, 12 legislators of Raj Thackeray led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena abstained from voting while two members, namely Suresh Jain (Shiv Sena) and K P Patil (Nationalist Congress Party), also absented.
