Modi holds bilateral meeting with African leaders

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held bilateral meetings with African leaders on the sidelines of the ongoing Third India-Africa Forum Summit (IAFS).

"A start to Prime Minister's bilateral meetings with Zimbabwe. PM with IAFS co-chair His Excellency Robert Mugabe at Hyderabad House," spokesperson of external affairs ministry Vikas Swarup tweeted.

Modi is scheduled to meet 20 African leaders for bilateral meetings here.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who met eight of her African counterparts on Tuesday, will also meet 12 more on Wednesday.
