| He opined that if elections were held as per the recommendations, the number of seats reserved for SCs and STs would go up and this might help the Congress. "The party high command would soon take up restructuring of the KPCC," he said. |

| Meanwhile, KPCC President M Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leader and former deputy chief minister Siddaramaiah left for Delhi for consultations with the party high command on restructuring of the state Pradesh Congress Committee. |
