The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has pasted summons outside the houses of the Ruias and the Khaitans, two parties accused of complicity in the 2G spectrum scandal.
The summons have been issued following the 2G trial court order calling upon Anshuman Ruia and Ravi Ruia, promoters of Essar, and Loop Telecom's IP Khaitan and Kiran Khaitan.
The accused are likely to appear before the CBI special court on Wednesday. They have been given another chance to adhere to the CBI court summons. The accused had failed to make an appearance in the trial court on January 27, citing reasons that summons were not issued properly.
