| Both Narsi Value Creations and Unitech Builders, whose proposals for setting up the high-tech cities in Agra had been passed by the state government, have submitted the concept reports for their projects with the Agra Development Authority for setting up their mini-cities in Agra. |

| According to Agra Development Authority sources, Narsi Value Creations planned to spend about Rs 1,150 crore in developing the township on 2,850 acres, though due to the paucity of land in the metropolitan area, the ADA had asked the company to submit a fresh proposal for a maximum limit of 1500 acres of land. |

| According to the sources, the company had already purchased 200 acres of land in the city and was planning to buy about 1100 acres more land from the Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board. |

| The other construction company Unitech builders too, has submitted a similar proposal for the new city after studying the city plans of several international tourist destinations like Barcelona, Seoul, Amsterdam and Delhi. |

| The new proposal incorporates the setting up of housing units to settle at least 5,000 families in the city, which shall be supplemented with educational institutions, industries, tourism hotspots, energy management, centralized security network and a "zero-waste" setup, all inside a 1500 acre township. |

| Both the proposals indicate that the new townships shall have extensive internal telecom, electricity and road networks linking luxury apartments, bunglows etc. with the rest of Agra. |

| These Hi-Tech cities shall also serve as regional hubs for education and industrial research and development with provisions for setting up private colleges and research institutes. |

| According to the ADA sources, the proposal of Narsi Value Creations was on the verge of being given the final seal of approval and the site for this new city shall be on the Agra-Mathura highway, though the site for the city to be developed by Unitech builders was yet to be finalised. |
