Award For Vpt Chief Sr Rao
Padmasri S R Rao, the chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust, has been chosen for the annual D Ch.Tirupathi Raju Memorial Award.
The award selection committee unanimously selected Rao who will be the first recipient of this award for his leadership, vision and management to make Visakhapatnam port a premier port in the country for three consecutive years, CV N Suri, the spokesman of Tirupathi Raju Memorial Charitable Trust, told media persons here.
The award comprises a citation and cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. T R Prasad, a member of Finance Commission, will present the award to Rao in the city April 20.
