Consultants listed for leasing out non-metro airports

 The technical consultants will select the airports likely to attract private sector participation. The financial consultants will estimate non-traffic revenue that can be generated by various airports.

 The global technical consultants shortlisted include Airport Consulting, Vienna, Lufthansa Consulting, Netherlands Airport Consulting, Parsons, Pell Freshman Consulting and Lahmayare of Germany.

 The financial consultants shortlisted include an Ernst & Young and IDBI Capital Markets consortium, a consortium comprising Feedback Ventures and HDFC Bank, a UTI Bank-led consortium and Capital Fortunes.

 The civil aviation ministry is planning to divest a 74 per cent stake in the non-metro airports to private players.
