Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) President Rajiv Chandrasekhar today demanded an additional stimulus package aimed at boosting demand in the economy.
"The two stimulus packages announced have not worked. One more stimulus package is required," Chandrasekhar told reporters on the sidelines of the Ficci AGM here.
The government had earlier announced two stimulus packages: first on December 7 and the second on January 2.
The third stimulus package should be aimed at restoring consumer confidence, he added.
