Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said on Wednesday the state government intended to carry out a review of its existing industrial policy, so that it could be updated to suit the requirements of industry. The CM was speaking at the inauguration of the Hollister Plant at Bawal on Wednesday. The plant would involve an investment of Rs 250 crore over a period of time and provide employment to about 1,100 persons.
Hooda added that in last four-and-half-years, the state had attracted investment to the tune of Rs 40,000 crore from both domestic and international sources and investment worth Rs 90,000 crore was in pipeline. He said that the government endeavored to reduce the regulatory burden for industrialists.
