Under this scheme, 125 such ambulances would provide the facility to pregnant women after delivery and sick children up to the age of one year.
The state government and GVK EMRI signed an memorandum of understanding here on Tuesday to start 102 ambulance services under national health mission.

State Health Minister Kaul Singh said one vehicle would be stationed at each of the 116 identified delivery points in the state, and additional nine vehicles would be deployed at delivery points with heavy load.
He said that the National Ambulance service 108 is already providing emergency services in the hill state.
